No club as such mate just a gathering of a few people. How many cars in your group going?

Don't know exact but he's told me there is quite a few and as its a German club I would think it will be a good turn out.

Really looking forward to it. Got a few bits to do this week, and hope the weather holds out

Ah yes, fair enough then I'll let you off :p

Right, tomorrow I'm speaking to AmD and my manager at work to sort a day out to get the full Superpro polybushing done at long last..

While it's there I'm going to get the coilovers checked over and more than likely re-greased! They haven't been touched since they went on...

And I'll get this 42 draft spacer put on the decat to stop my poxy EML and fault code coming up. When it does, the car runs rougher for sure I notice it pretty much straight away now through the pedal.

Car should feel LOADS better once every single bush is replaced for poly Superpro. Looking forward to the drive home. I know there will be some vibration at first but it'll calm down after a bit of driving.

Then it's time to sort the clutch. :)

I'm trying to work out what wheels are expensive can't be team dynamics there cheap

Lol it is team dynamics, pro race 1.2's in anthra. £620 without tyres around that.

Just a lighter wheel I can abuse for track tbh mate. It's not for show or bling that doesn't interest me at all... I will keep the ronal LCR wheels aswell. Never been one for expensive rims, cheaper will do me ;) Lol.

Update

42 draft decat spacer turned up.. Will be going on when I get the bushes done.

Also had my 1m of neoprene air ducting turn up. Hopefully get it installed how I want it on Saturday to make a nice cold air feed.. Not had one before and unsure whether it will make much difference at all, but for £13 it's worth a go. Hoping to run it down to near the fog and to the insert at the jabba shield directed at the JR filter.

Also today I ordered a set of VW Bora aero wiper arms and blades which should be here soon enough also.

Keep looking at wheels aswell, but a clutch is defo next on the list and I want the gearbox out and checked over want it all 100% slick and smooth so it's an animal to drive once all this is done. It's too notchy for my liking at the moment and needs work.

Then I might buy some wheels but I do want some cosmetic work done on the car also so we'll see how things pan out over the winter months and where I go with it.

So the gearbox will be coming out for a check over:think: maybe the old diff may need 'replacing'

Hahaha

Do not tempt me!!!! I know exactly how much it costs though supplied and fitted as my mate has fitted his own Wavetrac when he bough a Sachs organic setup.... Enough to make me cry!

Might just wait till I can afford both and do it but we'll see! Depends if I buy a set of track wheels... LOL. Who knows!!!!

I know what you mean about toting up prices being a shocker, i recently added up how much my stroker, etc cost me:blink:
I'd wait until you could afford to do both but maybe buy the clutch so at least its ready if it does let go

Yeah mate I bet that stroker is going to cost mega £££!!

I really would love to do the diff aswell.. Let's see what the bank says in a few months, lol.

Defo will buy the clutch soon as I can though as like you say it's better to be prepared just in case my oem one does decide to let go before I can get a diff aswell ;)

Sounds like the perfect plan Tom! $$$

Haha! Feel free to donate to the funding of all this work if you like mate! Lol.

Tom I didn't feel that much vibration in the cabin at all. It was only emphasised due to me having lots of keyrings dangling, other than that you DO get a weird 'off kilter' strum at idle. But when you drive it will make up for it big time.

Are you getting the steering rack bush done dude? Fantastic bush.

Cool, that's good to know. I'm not too fussed either if there is a few vibrations to start with as it will calm down anyway. Will just be good to know they are all done at long last and poly'd up :D

And yeah, I asked for the full kit PLUS the steering rack bush also that Superpro do. Had to have the lot while it's there, no point messing about! :D

Can't wait, 2 weeks today..

Cool man, you probably getting a good deal on the bushes.

I'm still waiting on my rods lol. 7 weeks and counting!!!! Bought my manifold now too ;)

AmD fit loads of these kits so should be pretty straight forward and they know my car inside out now! :)

Wow that's a long old wait, hopefully it'll all be worth it!
