Mini update..

I bought a little something else last night. The curse of the ebay app for iphone strikes again... Only a subtle mod but something else I've been meaning to do for a while and keeps to the theme of the car. When it arrives it will go straight on. And it's not a liquid gauge. That is getting ordered on payday though

If I'm not too hungover tomorrow I'll have a go at installing my LED rear lights too which have been sitting in my room gathering dust for a few weeks. The resistors have turned up for these now, they sent me four instead of two which was handy. If the lights operate fine without them I'll leave them be. Looking forward to seeing them on, they look better than the standard one's

Got to order a new silvervision indicator bulb for the rear passenger side as I found out along the way this one died! Will get a new pair in next weekend.

Cheers mate Glad you like. If you're about OEM+ there isn't any better aftermarket off the shelf options than these IMO. I've wanted them for a long long time. It was just getting much bigger more important stuff out the way first so I can 'finish' bits off now

Get a set. But buy two 50w 6ohm resistors as you'll need them to stop the center rear brake light from lighting up LOW when you turn the lights on. I didn't fit the resistors today as I'm unsure exactly how to install them and don't want to **** it up. Will be asking my mate for assistance with this soon, but it's no harm running it like this in the meantime.

Check J@mes 'Raid LED rear lights' thread in the MK1 section for more info on the resistors. You basically need them because these LED's run at a lower voltage than the stock setup and it causes the rear center brake to glow very lightly. Resistors installed on each side cancel this out.

Iv always liked these and all the other aftermarket tail light designs look very nasty and out of place. Cheers for the info mate, thats exactly what i had to do with my LED indicators, had to put resistors on all four, very fiddly but well worth the effort Can i be cheeky and ask if you could do a vid of them at night please as iv only seen them in the day, just to see how bright they are and that??

Yeah the resistors I got off ebay and they sent me 4 by accident instead of 2
