As iv had my liquid gauge for a while now i finally got it fitted today

Fed the wire through the back of the centre console

All tucked around the pedals

Then drilled a hole through the bottom of the heater vent to feed the cable to the back of the gauge

Not sure what I think of the new Leon yet to be honest. Yet to see one in the metal though.

I'm planning on getting a liquid guage in the future aswell, like you say they're a good piece of kit!

Got a few things done this week...

First up was changing the dipstick as i broke the other one a while ago.
Did this before with the LC and that was a nightmare trying not to get plastic down the tube. This time i used a hoover while cutting the base apart.

Next up was swapping my indicators for LED ones

Another job iv been wanting to do for ages and thats to finish off painting my calipers and paint the rear shields as well. Good old hammerite to the rescue...

Please excuse the rusty brakes, they are new but thats what you get when you leave a car standing for a while

Changed a couple of hoses today to smarten up the bay, this is the start of things to come.

P.S. I need to add hose clips to them this week when they arrive :D
