Good Rubber?

Hi all, im planing to get some 18s soon :funk:, but i have no ideas about what tyres to get.

i think i will need 225/40 r 18 but can anybody with 18s recommend any good rubber or at least what ones to avoid, as far as i can tell this euro rating system is pants.

Do a search there are many threads on tyres. What u want to spend per corner? Many of us use vreds and there a good tyre

Iused to buy Goodyear Eagle F1 the were good and not to expensive.

i looked at vreds but i cant see any in the 225/40 i think i would need.

online there are a few Goodyear f1s with a slightly different name

i know the bottom ones are rated diffrently but the top 2 are the same as far as i can see

No need to go for mega expensive tyres! Can't go wrong with middle range kumho's / falkens!!

Just put 4 Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2 on mine and im well impressed. Plenty of grip in wet & dry. Quiet and not overly expensive!!

Just had some Michelin primacy hp's on mine. Great grip
And not too much per corner. Dont scrimp on tyres bud, a good set
Makes all the difference

Michelin are giving away £50 fuel voucher when you buy 2 or more
Tyres, untill 20th April I think
