Read recently also that the Golf R cabrio is only 2 wheel drive as they had to strengthen the chassis so much there was no room for the propshaft. Crap.
Slower 0-60 also. What's the point.

i like the look of the front bumper, but i don't like the price tag.

and i don't like convertibles, I've seen them upside down after they have crashed, not pretty or worth it for the 2 weeks a year you can have the top down.

Especially at 38k, you can get some extremely fast almost exotic machinery for that, i'd be looking at noble's etc instead

I agree though, much much nicer cars out there for less money. Think it's a genuinely ugly car apart from the front square-on.

I dont think any of the previous golf rag tops were attractive cars but this is certainly the best effort.
Wouldnt be for me though... ragtops should be nippy fun 2 seaters rather than a hatchback in a headscarf.
