mine did this about a year ago, right pain changing the sump

You won't nesaceraly have to get a new sump. It's such a common fault on the vw range you can just get a thread insert

That's fare enough, I didn't realise you had removed it already. Would of been k as a tempery fix

Ive used the Dirko stuff many times now, Its great stuff.

Worth changing the pickup pipe while the sumps off. Only a tenner from AUDI.

It wasn't to bad but for what it cost I thought it would be rude not to.

I put some smoked lights on her also put a sfs tip on. What a difference it makes! . And put a neuspeed strutt brace on! And now having a well deserved beer!!
