How the hell do you get it out? I was trying to fit a boost gauge and in trying to get it out have broken it so now I have all fog lights on with the headlights

I may be able to repair it but for the life of me cant get it out without breaking it some more. I thought it would just pop out but wont budge

Take the fuse panel off and take out the actual fuse holder underneath (torx screws) - should then just be able to unclip it from behind the dash

Thats what I did Lee, its stuck and whilst pushing and holding the back it would not budge so I tried harder and now I can hear springs and all sorts rolling around. If I try any harder I will break the dash so cant work it out

Just had to order a second had one for £30 and when it gets here I will have to figure out how to get the old one out as it wont budge! Happy Friday lol

OMG :ban:

Push in the turning thing and pull on the switch it then comes out

Lol! Apologies, are we talking just about the turny bit? Or the whole surround part as well? I pushed out the whole surround part (with the turny bit in situ) to give me better access (got saucepan hands). No damage caused either *sheepishly heads for the corner*

Got it out in the end, looks like it had been broke a while as the clip had snaped but had been wedged, tiny screw drive lifted it out the way and now all works as it should just wont clip back in.

Turns out to wire up my gauge the switch live is not what I need. Its digital so only need an ignition live and earth which I will have to get from else where. All that for a broke switch
