Got it serviced yesterday £285.
Now got a nice knocking sound at tickover, so its on its way back in again today.
Having no luck with this garage at the minute.

Had Revo stage 2 flashed yesterday - shame i cant use it until the cat comes off on Saturday. Put it back to stock performance for now - it sucks! :(

Lots of logging and tweaking on the weekend though, should be fun :D

10J rears would be a no no in my book, even with 15mm adapters your @ E.T 40 + an extra 25mm due to it being 10J as standard are around E.T 51 but are 7.5J wide... I think

Basically your new alloys would have 21mm LESS inside clearance and would EXTEND an extra 43mm ( with an E.T of 40 if you used 15mm adapters )

So that means it's pretty useless then?lol. What width would you say was best to use?

I gave my car a quick wash today so I thought I'd post some pics up of my new alloys and painted calipers, I had the car machine polished 2 weeks ago and hopefully its going to be heading to Jakes ( with the yellow cupra on here ) to have the front and back bumpers and bonnet resprayed.....

My final E.T's are E.T35 front and E.T 30 rear, the alloys are 8 x 18" and are in the colour Black magic just like my car......Comments welcome

Well even a 9J rear Porsche alloy ( again using a 15mm adapter so giving an E.T of 40 ) is going to be

8mm LESS clearance inside ( which is fine to clear the strut housing )

But will EXTEND an extra 30mm..........

No you dont have to, you can use 9.5J on the rear but you'll struggle to go above 9J if you dont use a P.C.D of 5 x 112..

theres loads of merc alloys that are staggered Offsets + are between 9&9.5J rear...+ there 5 x112 pcd, the only difference is that the merc centre bore is 66.6 i think and seats are 57.1 but spigot rings cure this problem....my black alloys are 72.6 centre bore so i've got some big ass spigot rings on to bring the bore down...
