I have just purchased a pillar pod and a boost gauge for my LCR,NOW I have searched various threads on here regarding wiring and where to put my vacuum pipe on the FPR but if anybody has diagrams regarding the wiring at the back of the gauge and where to that would be great, diagrams would help lol

It's easier to fit it I Line the dv vac hose mate and if you have done a full n249 n112 bypass it's true manifold pressure so all will be ok

I have done the N249 bypass so i will get a much more genuine reading from the FPR you say?,plus all the diagrams on here show 3 wires being linked in???? Also sorry to bother you but where do you run the vaccum pipe through?

well if you have done the propa n249 bypass, by removing every pipe and just have the dv vac pipe from the manifold then it dont matter which u use, dont worry about 3 wires if you have 2 its just ground and ignition for the bulb, as for wherethe pipe runs, i ran mine under the scuttle panel, then on the drivers side just next to where to bonnet release goes into the bulkhead drill a hole then seal up when pipe is in

I fitted it last night at work all went as smooth as a baby's bum BUT! lol when i am travelling along the needle goes right into the minus figures until i get over 2200 RPM then it peaks at 1.0 bar but as soon as i let off it goes straight back into the minus again, switch it off then it goes back up to zero,is this correct or should i splice into the FPR?Cheers

So there is nothing to worry bout? And is that about right 1.0 bar? Its a mapped AMK. I do'nt really know what i should be looking for with the figures on the gauge lol

my 180 peaks at 1.4bar and holds 1bar not sure about amk figures though

Its just steady at 1.0 unless i unleash holy hell lol so if it holds thats better because if it starts to drop there will be an air leak etc?
