Hey guys, want to lower my car but I've heard that even with big loop ARBs they still catch driveshafts depend on how low you go. I want to avoid this problem complete so I've heard people run the r32 as they go underneath the driveshafts. Are the ARBs the same on the s3 and octavia vrs? Also if any of them fit do they need any modification or is it straight swap? I don't seem to see any new or 2nd hand ones on the bay of E so I think its a trip to the local scrappies. But as I say can anybody give me more info this please. My car is a mk1 leon tdi thanks.

Bare in mind even if you run the S3/TT/LCR ARB the angle of the wishbones will ruin the bushes in no time
Ideally the best way is to convert is to have the full subframe with rack, arb, etc as these run a much better angle when lowered and are stronger bushes etc

The rear bush of the wishbone, they sit at quite an angle on a mildly lowered car so big lows are known to kill oe quickly or pop poly out

Ah right il just keep an eye on it then. Also as I've purchased a s3 arb what size bushes are they? Does anybody know? Or give me a link to some poly ones on eBay or something... Be much help. Maybe you ronin you seem to know your stuff.

Thanks buddy. Il order them once I've measured the bar when I get it I presume its the same thickness all the way across? I presume it's pretty obviously where the bushes sit though

I don't mean the drop links as I will get adjustable ones, I mean in the middle of the arb there are a pair of bushes that hold it to the subframe that's what I meant, thanks for your help but I think spudboy sorted me out with the link to the correct bushes
