Today I had the wishbone bushes replaced with Powerflex items along with a Neuspeed front arb, again with poly bushes. (LCR by the way)
On the drive back from the garage I am getting quite a bit of squeaking from the front end. Is this normal while the bushes 'bed in', have the garage done something wrong, or will this noise be there forever?

If they're squeaking they might be dry. The powerflex bushes I fitted on my LCR came with a lube sachet, its like copper grease but thinner, coated all the surfaces the bushes would contact and haven't heard a single bit of noise from them.

Well the passenger side still squeaks like a b***h!!!
Garage have re-lubed it (ARB bush) which made it go quiet for a bit but the noise is back again.

Is it possible to replace the poly bushes with a standard rubber item, obviously will need to be 25mm not the standard 19mm

If you've paid out on the Poly one then get them working right rather than putting OEM stuff back in.

Did they actually completely remove the bushes from the wishbones to apply the lube?

If one side doesn't squeak then the other shouldn't .

Haha now I read it back , never mind the autocorrect mistake , but I think there may be not that it was intentional :)

So back to the garage last week for a relube of the arb bushes. Result - silence, lovely
Until today, 1 week later, squeak squeak squeak. FFS!
