Hi all newish on here had a couple of previous vags so know quite a bit about them now. Had an Ibiza Cupra 20vt 180 & Bora Sport TDi 130.
Got offered this Seat Leon Cupra cheap and decided as I'm not doing much mileage anymore to buy it and get a few trackdays done in it.
Will mainly be looking to make the car faster & handle better just trying to make it a fast road car rather than a warm hot hatch.
1st day I picked the car up, it's never going to be a show car and tbh I'm not one to spend 4-5 hours cleaning a car so excuse any dirty paintwork..
Straight away I did the N249 & N112 bypass as per a guide I followed on here, and whilst under the bonnet I also fitted a RamAir intake kit with heatshield.
Once I'd done this I then decided to get the car sitting lower so was looking into lowering springs when a set of nearly new Eibach Sportline 50/30 springs came up for sale locally at less than half I would've been paying so I snapped them up & fitted straight away..
And fitted ..
I also then had a dyno day coming up, and I decided to make my own decat pipe hoping for a bit of extra power..
I was a bit worried with this graph as it seems all over the place but after asking about in a few places it seems it's some sort of torque system which some 20vt have.. but the good news is it's not permanent and can be mapped out.. So that's my excuse
And a shot on the way home, was a convoy of about 5-6 of me and friends on the way home so was a good day out.
Hope to keep this updated with lots of mods and hopefully a few trackdays when I get some more power and mods done
