Anyone transported 2.4 metre lengths of timber?

5 door, Leon FR. Will a dozen or so 2.4 metre lengths of timber fit? Anyone tried it?

I *think* they should at an angle from passenger side to boot via the gap between the front seats, but don't want to look a complete fool if they don't!

Well I did it in the ST... I'm not sure about a five door. In the ST they fitted but had to rest on the front centre armrest, straight down the middle. Good luck!

Hi. Yes, they will fit. I regularly pick up a dozen or so of that exact size from my local timber merchants in my Leon 5dr. You do have to go diagonally but they will fit. Usually put a tarp the whole length to keep car clean. Have to wind down passenger seat as far as it will go as its a real pain to get headrest off!!

You guess wrong. Not as good as personal experience though. It seemed very close.

2.4 fits like that in my my Ibiza but 2.7 doesn't. Be careful not to scratch the dashboard.
