what did you and your mk3 leon do today

I've fitted a few quick additions in a crazy quick amount of time... uprated boot struts to auto open, angled up the led headlights just a tad, led rear indicators, car shade rear shades, SEAT key cover and chrome key fob mod. Just a few little bits to make the car feel more like 'mine'

How did you angle the headlights up?

On top of each headlamp is a screw for a small crosshead screwdriver. Park your car next to a wall (I've marked my original position) and with the dipped beam on slowly turn the screw. A little adjustment goes a long way. I did half a turn I think but then turned back a little.

Better detail is in the forum. Hope this helps

Day off, so decided to help Tesco's profits, evict a few polar bears and exercise the Leon ( and me) with a little trip to the Evo triangle. ;)

Got the car serviced and came back with a new dent!
Its a very small almost unnoticeable although it's all I see when looking at the car. On the rear pillar. Awaiting the branch manager phoning to rectify. Mightily miffed!

Glad im not the only one thinking that :lol:

It looks to be 20 miles of pristine roads in North Wales... Google it, looks fantastic.

Is it worth the 90 mile drive Kazand? Or did you just do it to say that you have?

Put Michelin PS4S on all corners - immediate difference from the Contis on from new. Possibly because there's tread on the front tyres now!

Well worth it, have done it many times in all weathers. Did 300 miles today purely for the hell of it. Evo triangle, down to Blaenau Ffestiniog, through Harlech to Barmouth, Fairbourne then back through Welshpool.
Lots of Super unleaded used , along with tyre rubber and brake pads. Lovely. :D

Might have to give it a go then. I'm still trying to come to terms with spending £50 a week on fuel.

Late March we were staying way down at the bottom of Cornwall so I drove this road a few times.

I wanted it be fun but it was the narrowest road ever and I'd only had the car for 2 weeks. It was utterly terrifying. Nice part of the country though.

One of the best roads (in my opinion) to drive on up in Scotland is the road between Inverness and Ullapool its got straights, twists and some really fast sections of bends but huge drops on one side of it which i imagine has claimed a few cars over the years

I moved here from Tasmania 7 years ago. it's nigh impossible to find a road over there that isn't amazing to drive on. Plus there's so few people. Maybe I should move to Scotland.

Scotland is the best country :p:p:p

But in all seriousness we have some good roads up here and like you say less people so clog up the good roads

One of more popular roads up here is the A82 but it busier at times and is dangerous as the views are so good that drivers lose focus on the road, I've seen people crash because of this

I'm pretty lucky, With both current & previous job I get to go to Scotland, and to some pretty remote places too. Although not in the Leon
Recently had a week in Skye, went to Ullapool, road was fantastic and deserted. Also did Applecross pass, which was pretty spectacular.
Great place.

I need new front's as I have mentioned in another thread. I have conti 6's all around rears are like new but the front's only 2mm left. PS4S i think are the way but boy so expensive. What conti's did you have?

I had Continental ContiSportContact 5s - they came on the car when I picked it up from new, burnt through the fronts in about 9months. Had 1.7mm tread on when they were taken off. My rears still had 6.5mm left so I've kept them as spares. I paid £700ish for the PS4S. Hopefully a worthwhile investment!
