The boxes from yesterday ....

All the parts I need to pass inspection

(Plus a used S3 muffler in the basement)

So excited to fix the car this weekend and then next week pass inspection then she will finally be on the road and sitting at my apartment and not at my hobby workshop!

A lot easier to work on a car when it’s at your house and you don’t have to take a train 45 min each way to work on it! Excited for the near future!

That thing is the most aggressive looling mk1 I've seen. Didn't like the lights at the start but....yeah...nice looking car.

Done a quick job today. Fitted new...well new black powerflex bushes to the rear axle.
Job took less than 10 mins. Just hit out the original ones (brand new one as it's a new axle) then a bit of lube then slide in the new bushes and push the sleeve in after .

Cheers man, i know what you mean as its progressed its just ended up looking more and more evil lol. Once the alloys are painted gloss black and ive got the spacers on the look will be complete

After my eldest used the backseat as a plate for his cheesy Doritos it got a full detail. Just wax n polish to doView attachment 9406

Nice one mate cant wait to see yours when its done. Il be messaging you for some tips on the Bush's you've done in the not too distant future .
not that bad really you can see a green tinge to them but still bright with the oem bulbs. Was going to do the fogs but they had to go...

Would be nice but my car is in a bad way engine wise atm. Smokes and every now and again top end tap so she's hurt bad and I don't want to chance it mate.
Winter time when the temperature is low is when I'm out and about normally.

Next it to prep for paint. Cut down the doors and lighten them . Got polycarb windows coming. Also cupra r side bumper to suit the wide wings all fibreglass. Also fibreglass bonnet and boot lid. Plus a splitter. Will be looking for side skirts as well

Not sure.. I'll weigh them all when I pick them up compared to the metal panels. I can't do the windows as I have thrown the glass ones way. But I will weigh a door when it's built. Then try to find the weight of a complete normal door to see the loss

When I stripped my blue banger I didn't go as far as to strip out the lights. Looks good

Funny haha I was actually thinking of doing this... as it would be super easy to sell the CH002 anytime if I don’t use them anymore. Finding these special Porsche wheels I want and making it all work is harder than originally thought.
