That timescale is the same as what I was told with mine. Ordered 1st July and was told should have it by mid December.

Latest update on my 310 VZ2 ordered early April is similar to others, car is built but awaiting parts to complete ie: chips ! and so it goes on.
i requested the sli number and then went onto the cupra chat got a build date from then and just followed it up tbh.
I went onto the Cupra chat last Friday and spoke to Ruby and she said she needed the SLI number to obtain the details of my order and that my dealer should be able to give me it, so have emailed my salesman this morning requesting the SLI number so I can have it to hand and check again with Cupra along the way. Did your dealer provide you with the SLI number?
My dealer gave me my SLI number. They had to wait a few weeks for it.
I must have got lucky as that's what I ordered in mid may, initially told early October but car is built and should be at dealers by end of this month so mine came forward.
So good news today, car is fully built and on its way ?

Yes, it’d be the Vz2. Does it come with the standard nappa leather in Spain?

No idea, don't think so.. it's a mix of leather/fabric. It's too hot for full leather seats down here - constantly burning your legs/arse 
Just had to resign all the leasing paperwork for VWFS because although ordered end of April/May it ended up being MY22 and so the model number changed by 1 digit or something. The good news is that it's costing me 9€ a month less now
Had a bit of a mixed day: dealer informed me early in the morning that my 310 VZ2 has now been built and should be here 3-4 weeks, so collection in early September (ordered at the end of April). Then, later in the day while out, a Formentor followed me into the car park. As it was the first one I have seen in my area I decided to go and have a chat with the driver and he could not have been more scathing of his vehicle. He didn't like to driving view, he only realised how little space it had after using it in the real world but most importantly he rattled off a long list of faults he had encountered, most of which have been covered here in the various topics. To say my excitement was dampened some what is an understatement.
I have to say, this is my first new car purchase (which is the 7th one in my lifetime) where I am slightly apprehensive about taking delivery.
