Yea all good no issues with clutch
Good to hear. The intake is on back order till january so will proberly get mine mapped in march/april when the weathers better. Was waiting for the black friday deal to come round and i guess i got excited. Been undecided on it for nearly 12 months and i finally gave in. Is there a selection of different stage 1 maps they offer. I thought it was just one?

I see, what’s the differnce In low boost and high boost maps ? I’m a noob allow me

assuming you have a 1.8tsi dsg all your info is on the link. i doubt the dsg will take the high boost map as the torque would exced the maximum rating of that gearbox. i believe the torque has to be limited in first and second. mines a manual so not to sure.

Cool thanks with a down pipe how much extra bhp you think I’d get looking to get it decatted then mapped together

You better price for a clutch dual mass flywheel and crank thrust bearing then as this engine and gearbox is not made for stage 2 power.

No I’d keep it stage 1 with the downpipe don’t think the dsg can handle stage 2 power without some sort of problems

So awesome rang today and it looks like im booking in for wednesday next week. Comes with 2 runs on the dyno aswell so will post the read outs and first impressions.
adam. Did u have any supporting mods when you had yours done? My induction kit wont be installed but i may just throw a pipercross panel in there for now till the apr one comes. Looking to get similar figures to what you got.

No supporting mods.
Car did have a resonator delete makes the exhaust a bit more free flowing and sound better but wont add any power. Car is bone stock.
Stage 1 doesn't require any mods.
Its two runs my friend as it is tested stock to ensure it performs as manufacturer states. Then another run to test final output power after remap.
I hope you know that the air filter will add little to no performance gain. The stock is fine up to 300bhp.

Look forward to your results boss.
Enjoy.
Little tip i disabled engine torque limitation in ecu and also enable esc fully disabled option in ecu so that you can almost fully disable traction control so doesnt cut power at the slightest bit of wheelspin.

Yh the air filter is for noises mostly. Will have to catch back up after to see how you disable torque limitation ect. I guess i will need obeleven?

Can buy a generic tidy obd2 reader. 10 20 quid. Download car scanner off app store pay for pro like 3.99 can do everything that obd eleven can do and more.
Yea air filter should help with sound
I get some nice turbo noises when i let off throttle around 3000. I would like a custom longlife exhaust just got to save some cash.

Take care catch up again soon

If you'll need a mod, the first thing to do is better tires... Then, an lsd would be nice just to be able to put down the extra power with second gear.

Yh did see this but never paid much attention. I just would expect to run a remapped car on 99 as standard.
any ideas what yours boosts too on the low boost map?

Never really understood this, my old M140i ran 360HP on 95 with no issues at all.. It was a stock car but higher octane fuel wasn't a necessity on a much more powerful car than what's being discussed here. The manual said 95 was fine too so?
