Just had an update from UK Carline...no build date! But apparently I should have it by October. They're hoping foruch sooner than that though of course but no build dates given.

I ordered the first week of October 2021...

I would imagine you'll hear soon, I ordered first week of August, with options a 130 FR Leon, so unless you have ordered hybrids? Hear they take longer due to parts!!?

VZ3 EHybrid Estate! I get the impression that they are just building petrol ones at the moment!

Mine is VZ3 300 - so it's not just Hybrids not getting built! ? I'm seeing people ordering V1/V2 Formentors in January and getting them this month? It's insane!

They must be cancelled stock. When I spoke to the broker the other day he told me that pretty much all new orders going through have a 12 month lead time, especially Seat / Cupra orders. Jaguar Land Rover is 18 months currently o_O

Was chatting to the daughters boyfriend this morning , apparently Audi have stopped building electric cars due to the ukraine war going on ! Bmw is apparently minimum nov/dec depending on what you order.

Still no build date for mine , vz3 300 hatch ordered in june.

Saw somebody in the Cupra Ateca forum got a build week of 45, ordered in September, though they're in a different factory than the Leon's so hopefully that's not indicative...

Know someone whose ordered a Golf GTI, He was told it would arrive in around 52 weeks.

Yes, 52 weeks - or longer - seems to be the typical current lead time for a performance Golf.

Depending on how long the current situation in Ukraine lasts might mean 52 weeks is a little optimistic, as some parts / components used by VAG are manufactured there. VW have already said that as a result of supplies disruption from Ukraine, they’re reducing or temporarily stopping production in some of their factories - Wolfsburg where the Golf is built being one of them. Also, Russia is one of the main markets for the production of some of the precious metals used in catalytic converters; sanctions imposed on Russia could mean supplies are affected.

Edit; I see that Mini have halted production until 18th March because of parts supply shortages from Ukraine;

Finally had an update on my Leon VZ3 300 order from back in September - factory estimates build in May/June. However dealer didn't let me know if a code 10 build week was added to the order...

Ordered through a lease company in December (VZ1 245), just been given a build week of April 11 and will be delivered in May. Was initially told it wouldn’t be delivered till Oct…

Snap, current car at end of year long extension, asking for ball park idea so I can make a plan, best speak to current provider I guess, either that or leave for work at 10pm and walk the 30 miles there
Same here ?

Anyone had notification of build date/delivery recently - seems to have gone very quiet!

I ordered (VZ2 245TSI ) through my leasing company in Nov and was told July but have no info from them.

Complete silence. I think the production capacity is now focused on Formentors, Leons are supposed to unlock around May.
