Yep! Really cheesed off at the garage that did this. Bunch of clowns.happens to mine all the time as my seals are flattened (by me)
they bolt on at the back but clip on at the front kind of have to push them on and downwards. I usually just give em a clout if theyre hanging off ?
happened to me in same place but worse, some kid jacked up in the wrong place and bent the lip of the sill i took the side skirt off got some big grips and straightened it back, on the broken underseal and paint i painted more underseal on it so it wont rust, refit and its straight now, you'll know what i mean if you take it off as it throws out the sill, got to give the lip some as it takes a far bit to straighten, while doing that i seen broken paint at bottom inside front wing causing rust so cleaned it up and undersealed that, common fault worth looking atAny advice on how I can get this straightened? They mangled in at the garage and I'm so peed off!!
cheers for that..happened to me in same place but worse, some kid jacked up in the wrong place and bent the lip of the sill i took the side skirt off got some big grips and straightened it back, on the broken underseal and paint i painted more underseal on it so it wont rust, refit and its straight now, you'll know what i mean if you take it off as it throws out the sill, got to give the lip some as it takes a far bit to straighten, while doing that i seen broken paint at bottom inside front wing causing rust so cleaned it up and undersealed that, common fault worth looking at

Thanks for that. Is it easy to take off and put back?I need to do this to one side on my yellow car.
Mine is bent in the middle, nowhere near you would jack it up to take a wheel off.
I took the skirt off last weekend, surprisingly mint underneath. One little bubble but that was it.
Cheers for thatThey're all like that, most of it will be loose underseal from been squashed from jacking up without using a rubber puck.

dead easy mate too remove , underseal i used was the waxoil underseal gear works well, a while ago there was a deal on that at halfordscheers for that..
I think I'm gonna spend a day taking that side skirt off and see what lurks behind it. I suspect it will be as you say, quite rotten. I will sport some tools, a hammer and grips and some hammerite to stop any rust etc. I tried to look for a guide to removing the side skirts but nothing here on SCN or youtube.. any resources to help me with this?
