Will pass on the question but if you did a factory reset before the map update that will be why the destination and home vanished.

Wonder if trusty @East Yorkshire Retrofits have words of wisdom on this one.
Thanks, I don't mind sorting again home location and destination. I am going crazy is about the parking beep sound not coming from the sound system like usual (it seems to come from somewhere next to the driving wheel and it's a terrible sound, not clean cool as before)

Which Software have the unit?
The only difference is that the maps version is showing now 24.6

And altought I don't have Seat connect app, under the system info I get the warning of an update that is pending (download OUI2 - 138MB) but it never starts do download. don't know if I use my phone as hotspot it will make it work

Is that because the current software gets corrupted which seems to be the case ?. Did the mib3 map update cause it or just unreliable firmware.
Well, the only thing I did was the mapupdate.

I did a factory reset on the infotaitment but I think that would not cause any issues.

I noticed too that when I get the reverse gear (I'm driving a DSG) the radio sound does not lower as before

Feels like the normal mess of mib3 in these cars and the systems. Hopefully when you get that firmware installed it will come back ?. Dont' think anybody else has reported issues after a map update on mib3, but perhaps they were on bug fixed newer firmware.

Well the lowering the sound when on reverse came back.

Finally got a message on display that the download OUI2 - 138MB was not possible.

Then another minor updates showed up and were done.

Anyway, going to make the version update to 1969 and see how it goes

Did the update, all went ok. 1969.

Same issue regarding the strange sound coming from the parking sensors.
From the list of the updates 2 were not done, don't know if it has to do with my car version or if it's meant to be

Well I don't reckon it was anything to do with the map update. Yes pulling fuses seems to come up a bit with mib3 getting the systems to rejoin the cars mothership ?. Control unit or something.
I will try the fuse trick during the week, gotta find out where the fuse box is, thanks for the hint

Was that then engine on to start it off. Engine off, door open ? Or engine on, door open ?. Wanted to clarify.
Engine off, just the power on (Start), door open... sorry if I don't make myself clear as english is not my motherlanguage:)
