Hi everyone,

My first technical issue I’ve run into with my Cupra and this is after having my car cleaned by valet so I assume water damage they’ve caused from pressure washing. Sadly I can’t prove it was them that broke it but it happened immediately afterwards.

Any thoughts on where I should go from here? I’d love to fix this myself as its not covered under my warranty. Front parking sensors work fine, its just the rear and side ones.

Would love some tips on finding out which one is at fault as I’ve seen that if one goes the rest of them all go down as well.

Has anyone replaced these themselves before? Would love to try it.

Many thanks!

They've probably got far too close with the pressure washer and pushed the sensor face inwards.

It looks like the passenger side inner sensor is the culprit (the one with the grey block next to it on the first image).
You've confirmed my thoughts on the matter James thanks! I don't suppose you know how easy it is to get the bumper off and replace it? Are there any threads on here showing how its done?
