LED self adjusting headlight too low

Hello! I am new here!
I have an issue with my headlights.
The left-hand headlight appears to project much farther than the driver's side headlight.

I understand that the driver's side headlight is designed to sit slightly lower than the passenger side headlight so as not to dazzle oncoming traffic. However, the right-hand headlight appears to be excessively low, and this is causing visibility issues, particularly when driving at around 60 mph on unlit motorways.

The difference is noticeable even when driving on reasonably well-lit roads, and it is clear that something is not aligned correctly. The full-beam headlights appear to function normally.

I have seen a few guides that show that it can be tuned using a screw on the headlight itself but I do not have those screws on my headlight - I think it's because mine is self adjusting.

I was quoted £200 for a diagnostic repair by Seat.

Anyone know how this can be fixed or have an idea what's gone wrong

My LED headlights do a dance up and down each time I start the car with the lights on. I guess some height calibration.
Do yours both do this?
If not - it will probably be a faulty auto height adjustment.
If they do then I would try the manual adjustment.

Mine go up and down, it's just the left side seems to shine a long way ahead, usually get people flashing me in the winter as well.

Is it maybe your left headlight is aiming too high causing the illusion the right side is too low? I'd pull up to a wall about 4-6ft away and see what they look like height and beam pattern-wise then go with the advice above, you could even go to your local MOT station and see if they would kindly check them on the approved beam tester/setter, easy way to find out where they are as it stands

Yeah I'll probably pull up in front of a wall or garage door to adjust them, I did this on a previous car and it worked a treat. I don't think it's massively out, just needs a little tweak.

What year and model is your car? I have a 2014 FR TDI and when I bought it, both headlights were really low. Like you say, almost dangerously so when driving in the dark. Mine did have the small adjustment screws on them so I parked in front of a wall and tweaked them bit by bit. Drove a bit and then tweaked again. That was about 6 years ago and never touched them since. I have no idea why they were so bad in the first place.

Mine do self-elvel as they also do the start-up self test.

Not sure why only one of yours is doing that. How long have you had it and is it a recent thing?
