lancashire.
Mine is 930 but area is rough and I have about 10 modification declared plus car value is really high. I have never paid so much for car insurance 😔
Bolton is a high on insurance and excess due to crash scams and high accidents , insurance company's put a high premium on certain areas, go a few miles down the road to another postcode the insurance will drop massively

Or a bit further down the road to Wigan where I’m from originally and you can pay a fiver and a couple of pies. :ROFLMAO:

New catback is on. Non-resonated but no louder than the old one. A bit strange because the old one did have a resonator it turns out, but they'd emptied everything out of the backbox. So it's as if it was too quiet for them and they thought they would make it noisier by clearing everything out of the silencer. Weird.

Finding new insurance was the last thing I needed, given I'm busy with work and moving house, not to mention the fact I need to transfer my parking permit too. Apparently I have to destroy my old permit before they'll send me a new one, so where am I supposed to park in the meantime if I don't have a valid permit?

The worst part is that if I'd stayed at my old place, I'd pay £137 (fully comp!), even though it's closer to the city centre. Even though this place is much further out of town, it's a BN1 postcode, whereas the old place was BN2. Apparently insurance companies see that as a licence to print money, because BN1 is code for city centre.

I got covered in the end for £312, but knowing it could have been less than half that just really yanks my chain.

And now I have to park in a dodgy area where they don't have parking permits, where I can't keep an eye on it, until I can get the new permit sent out. That sounds so much better...

Exactly, I thought that would be more likely. Thanks for helping. I've spoken to them & am collecting it later. I don't care if it's laid up at home for the meantime, just want it back so I can start over.
Appreciate it 👍

Heads up.
There’s a genuine new front splitter on eBay. Incase anyone is desperate for one.
It’s 180 odd quid in Skelmersdale. Collection only though.
Not my ad, just spied it.

I ve seen it but 180 pounds. Come on o_O
They’re impossible to get now and I know someone maybe desperate for one.
I know they used to be £27 when I bought one from the dealer in 2006 when I had a run in with a multi storey car park ramp with my first one back in the day.
They stopped making them 3 or 4 years ago so hard to get now.
I have been offered more than that for my new spare one I have but I’m not selling it incase I need it for my car.

Done yearly oil and filter change hoovered out other filters, also cleaned out the EGR again and that was like new when i finished with the oven cleaner i used messy job though, i would remove the egr cooler and the other pipe but there's a good chance the bolts would shear due the heat from manifold so not even going there lol
