It is what it is and all is just to get used with. Except software bugs ...
Note the infotainment is the same in Golf which is much expensive.

Orderder in March 2022 4 cars Leon ST FR 2.0 TSI DSG - just got a call they are here and a registration process will be finished next week. Nervous :)
Just 15 months but let's see the impressions first!

I got the car on Friday - Leon ST FR 2.0 TSI DSG. Coming from Skoda Octavia 3 I have to say:
I prefer Leon's stability
Engine is better of course compared to 1.5 TSI
Don't like the brakes but i am sure they will settle after 1000km
I feel it smaller in every aspect - interior, hight.
Boot space says 620l BUT in Octavia 3 Liftback 8 was arranging more luggage for sure !!
Roof touchscreen for roof, light, SOS etc today was unresponsive so I have closed from the key ?!
Better isolation
I hear some cracking noises from the interior which concerns me a bit.
Will see after some time if we het used to with each other :)

I recently got my driving license at 35 back in december, I have never really had a need for it in the past, I still don't *need* it, but as I am a bit of a hobby photographer, it sure does help getting to places, fast and easily.

I just bought my first car, and at 35 I was able to get a lightly used 2021 Seat Leon 1.4-litre eHybrid TSI 204PS PHEV (DSG) (sub 16000km), including excellent studded winter tires for a reasonable price.

Just got my 2nd Leon FR. This time the 150 rather than the 130. Manual version.
I was so pleased with the last car I decided to get another. Both on contract hire. 4 yrs last time 3 yrs this time.

Great colour! An easy way to upgrade the mk4 seat would be to use mk4 Cupra parts following the Cupra facelift?

No pics yet as it's late, but just picked up our new León Sportstourer 1.5 eTSI 150 CV DSG FR Eco. Bit of a mouthful and the insurers couldn't find the exact trim.

We wanted a car fast and stock was low, so we reserved one about to go into fabrication. This meant no options. Not exactly keen on the Azul Fiord (really a matt grey), but colour wasn't a priority this time, and it has a lot of toys anyway.

I just let it hurt itself at a wall in self-park mode; bit scary...

I am now awaiting the delivery of my new car as I have exchanged my Leon FR XL 1.5 manual for the 1.5-litre 4-cylinder eTSI 150PS (MHEV) (DSG) FR Special Edition Sportstourer automatic.
Not sure how much difference I will find in the performance of the car, but apart from still stalling my current car (I really do not understand why I stall this car so much as I was a driving instructor in London years ago and an advance driver badge holder), but this car I stall often. I guess modern car engines don't allow drivers to drive but they drive the car for you, hence changing to an automatic.

For every day driving you won’t miss the 1.5 manual. I made the same switch 4 years ago and still enjoy driving, albeit from the 1.4 manual to the 2.0 auto. Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

Hi there. Got my 75-plated 1.5 eTSI 7DSG running for 5 weeks, a bit disappointed to the gearbox so far as it is not as smooth and quiet as many had said. I came from an old A4 with Multitronic (steelbelt CVT) + 160hp, silky smooth and quite responsive while overtaking in A roads. Had tried a 6DSG 2 months earlier (Golf 8.5 PHEV eHybrid, 1 week rental in the Scottish Highlands), same disappointment for the gearbox as my new Leon....

I very rarely stalled my last MK4 manual (1.5 130PS) but my new MK4 manual (1.5 150PS) I kept stalling from new when setting off (or reversing). With a bit of mileage either the car...or me have got better! I did ask the dealer when I had to return after 2 weeks ownership for a replacement key fob if they were aware of any issues but apparently not. User error then  .

So far so good just getting used to driving an automatic again but so far fuel consumption is good and it drives well, hit kick down and the car responds quickly and accelerates quickly too. Not sure I'll every get used to the digital cockpit or some of the driving aids, but then i never did in my previous Leon and not much has changed, although i was surprised that it didn't have the kessy system which was a shock to both the salesman and myself, but I had extras like the 18ins wheels and the alloys black and silver which gives the car an expensive look, I'm now looking for a dash cam that has parking mode to fit into my car for overnight parking

Hi, you mean the FR trim does not have keyless start? Or just without keyless entry? I deliberately searched for the FR Black Edition mostly because of the keyless entry function. The lack of an automatic tailgate is also a bit inconvenient for me....

On mine I can only lock, unlock the doors and boot via the key but obviously as long as the key is with you you can start the car on the start button but my previous FR XL I could just touch the door handles to open or lock the car as long as the key was on my person
