AS ALWAYS DO AN AUTO SCAN OF THE CAR FIRST AND SAVE IT SO YOU HAVE THE ORIGINAL CODING IF SOMETHING SHOULD HAPPEN TO GO WRONG.

These eight adaptations below are the one’s we got working. Guide of the ones we weren’t able to get working or that didn’t want to activate are at the bottom. Some people have been successful and unsuccessful with the below.

Auto Scan – (Don’t take this step as an insult but it was a suggestion to add this to the guide step by step for first time users)
1. Computer is all powered up without VCDS running
2. Connect cable to USB
3. Connect cable to car
4. Turn ignition on
5. Open VCDS program
VCDS Opening/Home Screen
6. Select Auto Scan (See image for instruction)
7. Once scan is complete select save and fill in all the details. (This will now have saved all of your original coding)
8. If any faults have flagged up select Clear DTC’s it will then automatically auto scan again.
9. Once steps 7 & 8 are complete return back to the main VCDS home screen.
10. Then click on the Select Control Module Select.
11. You can now begin your adaptations

(We found that if you didn't make all the adjustments quick enough the security code timed out and you had to input it again then carry on from the last one that worked. You may also now be able to have control of this adaptation over the stereo menus but we are not completely sure. If the chirps are not working after the adaptations have a nose in the car settings on the stereo)

Activation of the fog lights (NSW) and Cornering
The onboard supply control unit, you have the option of the Seat Leon 5F fog lights (NSW) to activate additional as cornering. With active low beam, the respective front fog lamp is thus driven in accordance with steering angle and thus provides additional illumination when turning.
