From the size of the box, have you ordered all 5 grilles, the
lower and upper ones?
I might get some at the end of the month. Can't wait to see pictures of them on yours seen as we have the same colour car!
The box was big but was mostly air, it had to be this length to accomodate for the middle section
lower grill.
Fitting
guide also in the MK4 section.
Time:- 15 mins, tops.
Step 1. Tools, you will need a phillips head screwdriver, a torx T30 ... torx thingy, a flat blade screwdriver, and a hammer - you just never know what you might need it for.
Upper grills.
Step 2. Remove the 4 torx screws under the bonnet and pull the top of the bumper forward, this will allow you to get your hand in and push the old ones out.
Step 3. Wedge the screwdriver in around the sides and wiggle the beast out. You can stick you hand in the back and push to
help it out.
Step 4. Fit new grills, reverse of removal - align the holes and clips, push hard till it clicks.
Lower Grills
Step 5. Remove the two screws that hold in the fog light surrounds and pull them out.
Step 6. Wedge the screwdriver in to slacken off the clips for the middle part of the grill, there are 12 clips, 6 on the bottom, 6 on the top.
Depending on how your registration plate is placed you may have to remove this to allow access to the top clips.
Step 7. Fit new grills, reverse of removal - align the holes and clips, push hard till it clicks.
The finished product.
