maybe wrap a piece of masking tape round the metal prongs, this will hopefully make it fit more snug thus eliminating the rattle! For the door cards, i am going to silicone the slider clips on so that movement can still happen but it will not allow the plastic of the clips to rattle off each other

I know! I might give your bro a wee text to see if I can come down on friday night after work to have a look and listen to it to see if we can figure out what the devil might be making a noise! [:@]
Seen an FR for sale in Edniburgh for only £6488, might go and have a look at it on Saturday - see what they might give me for mine... ;)

My old FR's still sitting at a garage in Tollcross. £6k they want. It's a shame nobody's picked it up yet, I'd love to see it on the road again.

Like the FR grilles addition, that's freshened it up a bit. :) You'll have a blue replica of Scott's car before we know it. ;)

I like your thinking on the door cards issue, however the headrest...
It's the bit on the inside that rattles - if I take it out it still rattles on it's own!

Tilt the headrest downwards so its resting on the seat.. stopped mine when it was rattling :)

Although might not be too comfortable for passengers :p

Might give that a go, other than need to be find a car in a scrap yard somewhere or ebay...

The boot trim simply need replacing as it has been taken off so many times during the winter to fix the feckin rear washer pipe!

i did the silicone on the slider clips on the door cards and on the rear quarter panels and i have to say, it is a lot better, less vibration when you are driving. Just used general purpose clear silicone round the clips and on the actual clip holder (dont know the actual term haha) and assembled the lot back together before the silicone dried.

Was digging around on my other HDD, found an oldie from two years ago, just after I bought the car... Just love the lighting in this...

Yeah that's it. :) Very good condition, new brake pads and discs in January and two new expensive Michelins on the front in May. Plus the wheels were powdercoated last autumn.

Did you have it mapped?

.G.

No, I never got that done. I did think about it for this year, but then I had about a grand's worth of expense back in January with the brakes, servicing and wheel bearing problems and that stopped that idea.

Anyway, I like the lighting in that shot. Somebody was asking me about locations for photos in the Glasgow area the other week and I referred them to this thread.
