Edit (22/10/08):
Since the original post, the vehicle has had the Autotech HPFP fitted, and the Forge Twintercooler is going in on the 27/10/08. Those power figures above are now old news. The cars much faster! RR to follow...

I wish my car was small enough to hug I like it so much (No, really). The weather has been nice today, so bust out some shampoo and wax and went to town on her.

These are the first pics taken of the car since new and stock, so any feedback is welcomed. The mod-list so far consists of:
  • Revo SPS Stage 2
  • Forge DV Spacer
  • Forge Vacumme Valve
  • Milltek 100-Cell Sports Cat (3" Downpipe)
  • Milltek non-res exhaust from cat back
  • Carbonio CAI / Pannel Filter
  • Autotech High-Pressure Fuel Pump
  • Cupra K1 Spoiler
  • "Sammy" Seat Teddy
Total tested BHP was 312 at 6250RPM (315PS). Estimatd 0-60 sprint is 5.6/5.8 secs (Tested a few times on a stopwatch, not pretty accurate, so results were averaged). This was on the 21/08/08.

Here's the pics:

Very nice, all you need now is a upgraded fuel pump to get the car up to 350hp!

Looks nice bud. Side skirts and slightly lower suspension would finish it off nicely :)

Lol, djhorace and Poverty, those 4 items are on my list of to do's - the next one being the fuel pump, followed by the Forge Twintercooler.

Need to wait untl next months pay cheque though!

Not sure 350bhp is possible by the way, and if it is, the turbo will be well taxed.

JBS reckon the cupra can do up to 360hp on standard turbo with full miltek, forge dv, remap and fuel pump upgrade!

Yeah think it needs lowering a bit give it that mean look. Really want a cupra like yours ;)

I don't doubt that 360BHP can be achieved from ths engine, however...

That level of power will stress the stock turbo, as you are right on it's power limit, so the life of the turbo will most likley be reduced. Clutch will need a swap-out unless you want to replace that every 20K.

Finally, it will neeed a torque-biasing differential to the front axel to maintain good traction. I aim for 340 BHP with the Fuel pump and twin intercooler and that will be plenty thanks!

I think 340 is a good target. No need to strain out a extra 20hp at the sake of reliability etc!

Even if you can get 350hp it would be the worse power graph ever. Thats where Big Turbo comes in [B)]

do u not find 300HP too much for a front wheel drive car?

btw how much is ur insurance with all that ???
300BHP is handled pretty well by the car atm if you keep ESP on. Turn it off and it's all a bit dramatic, and you wont go anywhere fast.

Cupra's ESP system has an E-Diff setting, so it tries it's best to balance torque etc under normal driving between both driving wheels, and I have not really had any issues with it so far.

Insurance was a sod. I had to switch insurance company's when the Revo code was put on the car, due to my insurance company at the time not allowing any modifications until I turn 25. It's with Adrian Flux now, and is just under £800.

Having 5 years NCB and a clean licence help some way towards lower premiums, and the excess is £600 (a tad high, but never mind).

Leon, you can easilly upgrade the Turbo in your FR to the K04S in my car for not much cash, and you get an instant 240BHP - You know you want to!
