My old Cordoba SX -99
So this was my first Seat and I bought it in 2008. It was little bit bad shape but it had driven only 128000km! Engine was 2.0litre 16v ABF and was tuned by Seat Motorsport. So it had 213hp with 190nm torgue. It had two version in my hands.

When I bought it

Version one

And version two

Engine mods
2.0 16valves ABF
-free-flow filter
-chipped ECU
-cam shaft
-adjustable nose wheel
-exhaust manifold
-2.5" catback (made by me)
maybe something else

Modifications made by Seat Motorsport

I did those paint works by my self and final version was painted with Starpaint Rageous Colors Sun Yellow. So the color changed orange to gold.

Coolant liquid spreaded and traction was lost at left side! Yeah that´s me who opens the bonnet.

Plans.... Too many! Vario will got some more power maybe in next summer. It´s a little bit tricky to drive in snowy roads in here with those horsepowers. So that´s why it goes to summer. (still we don´t have any snow in here. So it´s quite odd!)

Hopefully in next summer I´ll get enough time/money to do paint job and front modifications. My wife picked up the color and i´m quite happy for that!
StarPaint color (sorry it´s Finnish)

Finally bought some audio hardware at front! I bought Ground Zero Radioactive 2-way speakers and hopefully I don´t have to regret that deal!

10" Focal subwoofer and 200w Spl Dynamics amplifier going to place it too.

^ I don´t really remember who´s headlight set it is! So sorry!! Some feeling that it´s German manufacturer! I think set is quite rare. I haven´t seen any in here north!

2-way speaker are now in placed. So are 10" sub and SPL amplifier. Former owner had good wiring already so it was just bolt on!

Sound was quite surprise! Not WOUU.. :-o But still not bad! I would say that good money/quality ratio!

Something bad but something good!

I have had little problems loosing coolant liquid with high rpm. I think that cylinder head gasket had burn. So I bought cylinder head from wreckage Seat and it cost 200€. I did have inspected and cleaned. Now its fitted with better steeper camshaft and stiffer springs. Now I just waiting mounting! Just like a kid waiting :santa: !

Month from now we have a big 3 day festival in place called Virtasalmi. Bans, cars, car audio, drifters, time attack and 1/4 mile. Hopefully at that time Vario is fixed and kicking good. I try to take video and some new pictures from there.

Uuuh..... New cylinder head finally fitted! Actually one week ago. Now engine runs perfectly and it has no any kind of problems with idle speed. Except little bit louder now. No leaks at coolant system.

More power and more smoke! :D No grip at 1st and 2nd gear after 1,0bar boost! :D

And Sunday is over! Finally I did get chance to get some testing and experience with smokey. Engine worked fine now and didn't had any problems. No loosing liquids or heat problems!

I also did meet my old SX Cordy there and went some 1/4mile race. I'm quite happy with times what i get. I thought some between 15-16 second times but below 15 was also possible! Only slowing thing was between steering wheel and seat! My reaction times was so slow!! Some between 1,189.sec and 1,527.sec! And even fastest reaction was in slight rain! Times was 15,704 - 17,123.sec at 6 runs.

Here is some pics!

And my wife take some video. (sorry poor quality!)

I was quite happy to see my old Cordy to run so fast! Despite engine had some problems with power loss and low rpm! Old ECU (motorsport unit) went down and was replace with Golf GTI ECU. But some reason it didn't fit so well. It should be fun to see how it goes with old Motorsport unit!

It was just standard apart from the nozzles so about 115 or so. I would like lots and lots but the funds aren't there for it lol

I did find those nozzle size! They are Race and size is 0,216

Now I need to get on dyno and get some readings out.
Then remap ECU! New camshaft did add some more RPM but after remapping is possible to take much more! Quite high readings to diesel! :D

ps. Sorry about my English!! It has take some time when I needed it last time!
