tdi boost gauge

hi all:
need help asap, got me boost gauge all wired up & lights working, got me vacum hose in place, but where do i fit it to a cupra tdi 150.
do i need any more bit to complete the job.if anybody has fitted a bost gauge to a leon cupra tdi 150, can they please give me some guideance, & pic's.

Im looking into this aswell, i got told the map sensor on the back of the intercooler is a good place to use,

Its not just a straight forward "T-piece in a pipe" like on petrols tho,

nope u have to tap into either a boost pipe or the inlet manifold , u can get threaded adaptors from the boost gauge people with the hoses connection at the back , mine is tapped into ythe boost pipe that runs along the left hand side of the engine into the anti shudder valve

Ive just found that pic on uk-mkivs website,

now i now what to do, iv just got to find a gauge with the right fitting kit on it,

then there is no need to drill, took me a long time to search all through the pages of boost gauge fitting.

Apparantly, there is a 5mm hose that you can "T" off? a connection between the fuel regulator or something?

iv just checked the email i recieved nregarding the pipe, and yes, it was for the 1.8T,

what about this pipe tho???

The top one, going into the silver circle thing????

nope u must break into the black plastic pipe or the actual inlet manifold , al those rubber lines carry vacuum only

When allards fitted my spa boost gauge, the got rid of the egr valve, blocked the pipes off, and put a straight pipe instead, so that the adapter thing plugs straight into it.
