I clayed my car today and removed all the old swirl marks (but revealed many chips :( )...took me 4 hours! What do you think? :D

Will maguiars quick clay remoove the wax that is already on the car, ie will I have to polish then wax after I use the clay? Also di I dry the car before using the clay after shampooing or do I leave wet and the spray and clay? Many thanks

is there anything else i can use instead of the proper lube stuff in the bottles that costs a furtune every time, i am using the zymol stuf but this bottle has nearly gone and hasn't lasted long, It seems that you get better results from using lots of lube but it is expensive..:p :p :p

Not sure I liked it or my technique is crap! Seemed to leave fine scratches all over the wing I tried it on, used a polish after to lessen them then carlack and it looks good in dull light but not sure how it may look in sun? It was new clay and I used lots of lube, maybe I'm just scared of...

Hi, I have tried searching but have not found the answer I was after! I am thinking of getting my first clay bar to try on my black cupra. Please could you give me any tips on using it without gettin scratches etc. :confused:
