Hi all,
Well after much debate on changing my LC180 for the LCR 225, i finally followed it through and i must say i aint dissappointed at all!! So pleased with the car!!!
Mods so far are:
Piper catback system
Rallytech remap (Boreham) supposedly 270-280hp
FMIC
After market air...
Finally picked up my Seat Ibiza SC 1.6TDi from Willoughby yesterday and it's brilliant.
Managed 48MPG on the journey back from Nottingham to Grantham, and with only 8 miles on the clock when I drove it off, that's looking brilliant. Give it another 10K miles, and I reckon that'll get close to...
NOT!!!
I seemed to have developed a nasty one above my accelerator pedal!
Checked under the scuttle panel and everything looks solid and free of leaves, dirt etc.
One think I did notice is that the seal around the loom housing felt a bit wet. Is this a common place for a leak?
Oddly...
picked up my new baby at about 6 o'clock tonight, candy white 2008, xenons, standard everything else.!!
love the drive and the handling and the smooth power!!!
1 question when do the xenon washer jets pop out?? when u spray the windscreen coz they dont seem to be working...
Got myself a Mk5 courtsey car for the day, I have to say, its a bit turd. The inside is cheap and tacky, the radio/climate cont' display looks like those bright red alarm clock displays from the 80's, handbrake feels like it might snap off and it has a rather large arse. I was semi tempted to...
hi guys,
finally reached 15 posts so I can now post some pics of my new car which i picked up at the weekend.
picked this up with 83k on the clocks with mainly Seat service history on a 53 plate for £3500 2 previous owners.
good deal?
Did a self-service yesterday, changed the oil, oilfilter, air filter & sparkplugs (which really needed doing)
My god, what a difference its made, the car now drives like a dream. It feels like i've gained 10% hp, i know mines only a 1.2 but its made a big difference. I'm starting to like my...
She has started smoking... and not even the sort that nicotine patches can sort!
Coupled with drinking lots of water off it went to SEAT for a pressure test!
SEAT wanted £65 to diagnose the problem...
Worst case has happened and its my head gasket / cylinder head with a minimum cost of some...
Bought a red 08 Leon FR170 last Wednesday and all I can say it what a car! Initially I thought the road noise was a bit too much to handle but this is my first car with wide wheels to be fair. I also got 4 wheel alignment done to the settings I got from another thread on here and it has made an...
My FR has now done 6000 miles and feels much quicker than new. I still cant believe how good value the car is. I used to have a westfield sports car which was a real blast to drive, however i needed something a bit more practical. The FR IMHO is such a well balanced combination of power...
I just want say how much I still love it!
Ashamedly, it's turned rather into a commuter car lately and I have not enjoyed it as much as I could, it has become part of the job essentially. She travels 10-12 miles per day and rarely sees revs over 2.5k.
So on Monday night, I stupidly decided...
Just a quick post to say how chuffed I am with my newly acquired runabout which my g/f owned before getting her new Mini yesterday there.
Its the 1.6 S 16v model on a 2000 reg plate, and it is the only car I have ever scanned on VAGCOM that never shows any errors other than when the temp...
Evening all,
I have just got the urge to write a post about how much I am enjoying the car at the moment, I have got a 08 TFSI Fr with a few toys and I love it to bits. I have had it since the end of aug and it now has 8k on the clock and touch wood I haven't had a single problem at all...
so i had some time to play about with photoshop yesterday and did a little chop...
all thats been done is lowerd and increased the size of the alloys!!
just wondering what you guys thought?!
Having had some serious annoying news about a now retracted job offer, I popped out of the office at lunchtime for a drive. Haven't done that in months. Took my boss with me who is a huge car fanatic (we like 700 others are being made redundant in the coming months) as he hasn't been out in it...
Hello arosa owners :p
I own a Mk2 ibiza atm and its my first car but from day 1 I've loved arosa's. When I have my 1NCB i'd like something a little quicker and the 1.4 16v seems like a cheap to insure sporty option for my age (18)!
whats the good and bad points of these wee cars?
cheers...
Right as i went for a cheaper performance alternative last weekend and stripped the back end of the ibiza out i can honestly say i did notice some difference. However, now with it needing a new clutch, pedal box needs drilling as it wont stop clicking, speedo not working, petrol gauge not...
