    What MPG you guys get?

    What kind of MPG you lot seeing out of your 1.8 20VT's? I see on average, 31MPG ish around town. Sitting at 55-60 on motorway I was getting 46 MPG, and at 70 40-42 MPG. Thought that was pretty damn good for a turbo car and it's not standard.

    hi to you all.... Recently purchased myself an 57 reg ibiza tdi... Ideally for better fuel consumption.... however i was told i'd get around 45/50 mpg but im only getting 30/35! why is that??? Was told once it wears in it'll get better... Any suggestions would be great - Thanks - James:)

    Best MPG?

    Yesterday I did just over 70 miles and got an average of 40.1mpg :o that was about 60 miles of motorway and 10 of stopping and starting.....before I did the last 10 miles it was on 40.8!! I was driving at 70/80 all the way back so I'm quite surprised at the MPG I got!! Whats the best you've got?

    MPG Reading After re-Map

    Afternoon all, After I had my car re-mapped the average MPG rating went from about 33/34 to the early 20's. When I start her up at first it reads about 18/19 and climbs upto about 22 after 5-10 mins of driving. Is the similar to everyone else, or are they dodgy readings?

    Well, I have a '97 GTi Cupra Sport 8v and was playing around with it the other day trying to figure out my average MPG around town. It worked out about 22.1MPG now I know the computer gives you your average MPG but is it possible for it to display your "LIVE" as it were MPG?
