Well i have to say my little 90bhp TDI Leon is going a storm at the minute. Filled it to the neck last weekend and its not even half empty and its already knocking on the door of 285 miles. I was thinking of changing to a petrol but sod that if i get 600 miles out of a tank i will stay with the oil burners and just upgrade to maybe a 130 or if money are right an FR ohhh baby.

What is everyone else getting from a full tank of go go juice?? Just wondering ;)

Looking good for 650 miles this week. Not bad for a car with over 190bhp and big enough for 4 adults to sit in relative comfort.

2 weeks ago I got 623 miles from just less than 50 litres (57.1 mpg). That's my highest yet!

My Toledo has been remapped from 130bhp to 160bhp ish, but the clutch is slipping so I cant thrash it around even if i wanted to!

mine is only a 90 bhp i and i think i will be very lucky if i get 600 from the full tank. How do you guys get 600+ from say a 150 or 190+ bhp car?? Just wondering.

Fill it right to the top, and drive it in a sensible manner. I've got 1/4 of a tank left in mine and it's done 549 miles with an estimated 115 left in it.
Going to the red light on this tankfull to see just how much i can squeeze from it.

Depends how you drive mate :)

I normally get 400 miles from £40 - but I did achieve 61mpg from a 24 mile run one (I was running out of juice like & taking it very easy lol)

TDi Mileage!

My TDi 110 Toledo 052 reg gets 640 miles to the tankfull(55ltrs),doing 550 miles a week,400 motorway,rest urban. Averaging about 52 to the gallon,brilliant,and I don't hang around on the motorway:D

Yeah, i seem to get in the region of 600 miles from the tank on my toledo 150TDI

I've just come back from a holiday in Poole and before i went i filled up with £50 worth of diesel and i didn't need to fill up again for another 550 miles.
That was with a mixture of motorway, town and fast A and B road driving.

Out of interest, you guys who are getting 600+ miles to a tank, is that with the majority of the driving done on motorways?

to get in the region of the magic 600, very light accelerating, keeping it to 60-70mph on motorway, with only a few miles town per journey

I NEVER drive motorways to work. Only A/B roads and i'm up and down the gears constantly. On a motorway over 70 miles i acheived 59.8 sticking to speed limits.
I think the brand of fuel plays a part as well as how you drive and all other factors.

i have to say with the music thumping out in superb quality, when I'm not in a rush i drive much more relaxed/lighter foot to hear more of the tune.....which also means i take the long route home and use more fuel. go figure :)

Hi Paul

You got to take into account that 130 - 150 lumps have a better setup than us 90 - 110 lumps :( they get 6 Gears and the injectors are better or something like that!

Hey daveonthemove have u got cruise control?

Only get just about 500+ to my little baby. But new job and car share means I don't drive half as much :)

I have mate and i use it whenever possible. Certainly helps with MPG as well as keeping me from flooring it all the time.
