tweeters

Hey! I’ve got a seat leon mk2 FR 2007. went to change tweeters in the door and they look like this.... (see picture) any advice on How to change them? The black rivets are where the bolts are supposed to be..I’m unsure how to change these to bolts or even how to remove them? Any help is appreciated

hi ya all, my front tweeters (above the windows) has fried, does anyone knows what's size of tweeters do i need for me to replace it so it'll fit inside the panel? any recommendations on specific model?

Hi New on here. Got in the car (56 plate Leon FR TDI) this morning and the only stereo sound is from the tweeters - any ideas what's wrong?:confused: One headlamp bulb went last night but assume it's not related? Thoughts, ideas, suggestions please. Cheers

Hi, Just brought a nice 1000w sub for the boot, and thinking of slowly replacing standard audio. I have a rough idea of how to get to the door card speakers.....but how would I get to the tweeters at the front near the windscreen?? and what wattage are the door card speakers and front...

In the process of changing my front speakers atm.. thing is, the new tweeters are too deep for the standard tweeter spot. Any ideas what i can do to mount them? Ive already cut thru the grill hoping to make extra space but im about 5mm short. Ive enlarged the hole where the original tweeter...

Hi all, I have just noticed that the rear tweeters in my '06 Toledo (identical audio setup to Altea) are no longer working. Has anyone else noticed a similar problem with their Alteas / Toledos ? One tweeter packing up might be forgivable, but both of them ?? The front ones are fine...

looks like all 4 of the tweeters are kaput,what would ppl recommend me do...replace them with the OEM ones or buy different,i'm not one for having to have amazing sound quality,as long as its decent,the OEM ones are £60.....OH and the CD changer has just died as well so.......... any help?

Hello everyone ok my in car flip out dvd player has been fitted and sub and amp are running but the speakers in car are pants so i want to start of with the tweeters as this is where car lacks sound due to dvd player upgrade as soon as i wack up volume the just crackle. Anyways nuff of that...

have read a few people changed speakers in front for components. just bought some focal comps and wondered how easy do the tweeters fit into the original gap? do they fit? how do you remove it from the door? etc?
