01435 fault code

Evening,

My traction control light randomly comes on and stays lit until the ignition is turned off and on again, happens once or twice a month. Scanned car with vagcom came up with this code:

01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201)
008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent

Would i be correct in saying that it is the brake pedal switch that needs replacing? Or would you say its something more serious?

Mind providing some more information? Which year, make, model and abs system are we talking about? All that are questions which can easily be answered by posting a complete Auto-Scan.

Hi yeah sorry, i realised that after i posted. I am working away from the car at the moment so i can't do a full auto-scan. The car is a 2001 Leon Cupra. Thanks

Took my time but tried to do a autoscan today and would not work fully. (using shareware version and ebay cable) ABS module is MK60 tho. VCDS-Lite Version: Release 1.0
