Hi, Does any1 know where the adjuster is on the handbrake of the 1.2s? i noticed theres a ashtray behind the handbrake lever could it be under there or do I have to pull all the centre console off?

my guess is you have to pull the center console out, on my old fiesta it was next to the handbreak lever itself.

thanks for the info pick up new wheels tommorow stick them on + adjust the handbrake on thurs! love having time off work actually got time to do anything. :D

Knowing nothing about 6L Ibiza rear brakes set ups, I'd be amazed if they had manual adjustment. If you strip them down and clean them up a bit they might start working again as the levers may have seized up. If you end up just adjusting the cables when they are not the route cause of your problem, then you are just masking the original problem and improving things by partially pulling the handbrake on! I have however experienced seized rear brakes on a 6K Ibiza - and ended up just replacing the shoes with SBP (Swedish Brake Parts) parts from ECP - I think that is what the make is! Maybe for 6L you can still get proper brake kits from ECP.
