1.4 Sport 100ps using alot of Oil and Coolant!

Hi Guys,

Having owned my Ibiza 1.4 sport 100ps for a year now I have noticed that it uses alot of Oil and Engine Coolant; is this down to me having a heavy right foot and doing alot of motorway driving or something more concerning. Car has done 80k miles so far.

its usually diesels that burn oil lol. if its burning alot then you might have a problem, i know my mate with a crx scrapped his engine cause it was buring oil lol.

85k miles is getting up there, I would sugest that maybe you have an oil leak of some sort and maybe a coolant leak also. do you get any spots or drips under the engine after it's left over night?

Not many hence my concern, may get it checked out when I get a chance. Car still runs fine although a bit lumpy at idle...
