If that Golf's the donor car, won't it be a 2.8?

Nice work by the way, do you think all the hassle was worth it?

would be if it was a standard engine in it but its a le mans engine from tsr!!
has been bored out to 2.9 and has gas flowed head n other bits.

insurance wise im with adrain flux now

and yes all the hassle was most deffently worth it. id do it again just for the sound!! and also to prove all the ppl that said me (an electrician) and a few friends couldnt do it!

Very nice, looks good, not exactly the 16v conversion and hence a lot of stick at the beginning of the thread. Money effeciency would have said just buy a 16v Ibiza model, but the VR6 is different.

Hopefully the brakes are sorted too! :headhurt: Or that'll be some scarey stopping from over a ton

Sorry Mork, got confused with another thread.
Just re-read this one. Nice bodywork Dougy.
So did you go from a 1.4 to a 2.8, thus doubling capacity, no you went .1 better. 2.9. Nice.
Did you swop an antirollbar onto the back axle, or swop the rear brakes onto your beam?

kept my car as standard as possible and will change things as and when they become a problem. left my rear beam on and attactched the brakes! so far the cars handling well enough. when i get a few more ££s i may get the full eibach antri roll kit.
