1.6 completely dead - will only bump start!!!

Starter solenoid packed up so got a new starter motor for free of a 1.6, swapped solenoid and put it in .. dead. So took it off bench tested it, and whizzed ofer fine 6 times. So fitted it, dead.

Bridged and earth with a jump lead to eliminate earthing problems... DEAD

Bridged a live and earth... DEAD

Bridged the live to the signal on the solenoid and nothing..

Jumpstarted it off another car.. NOTHING

Anyone got any ideas?

Checked every fuse in the car and it was fine, relays are clicking like fook.

But it bumpstarts fine :S

no as the battery spins it off the car.. FAST lol the key is just dead.
