Hi one of my customers has a 1 lady owner Leon cupra mk1 100% stock in black it has around 120k full history. The car is on his forecourt but it’s not a very big garage I have seen this everytime I go there. It is my perfect mk1 black 1 lady owner and stock. The sticker price is £4999 which is feel is way too much for this car as it could do with the front callipers repainted and the dent man to take out some little parking dents on the doors it has a scratch here and there. The inside is factory fresh from what I can see standard head unit. I’m tempted to trade in my mk2 lean for it but just think £4999 is crazy money for a car that needs a freshen up. What does everyone else think? It’s original paint by the looks of it as it’s not fresh but I think with a paint correction this could be a very nice standard mk1 to buy as a keeper and leave it stock and just restore it back to its former glory.

Looks pretty tidy but hard to tell properly by those pictures and that's way too expensive for that mileage.

It looks better in the photos it’s not as clean I’m person but I think with a paint correction it’ll be decent. Yea that’s what I thought 5k is strong money. It just needs some money spent on it and it’ll be a keeper.

4k is more reasonable, condition over mileage at these sort of ages now even with the mk2s , I never go by mileage personally aslong as history and condition are good

It's more iconic I guess but the mk2 cupra is more modern and stronger performer

That's a lot! But I suppose most Cupras have been pulled out of the scenery a few times by now. So how rare is a straight one?

In that case no way, well over priced.

I'd be a little bit cautious as you've given the website in the pic for the dealership and the price with I assume more images to come lol someone may nick it before you haha

maybe I’ll leave it then as I don’t really want another money pit cupra plus I can’t leave anything standard so will be hard leaving it stock anyway.

If you want a future classic then look no further than an audi tt mk1

5k will get you nice one with sub 100K miles in 225bhp varient.

Prophet of doom moment here but are you sure?

The younger generation arnt that interested and the children of today will be jumping into EVs.
10-15 years time when you'll have to drive 20 odd miles to find a fuel station that sells petrol/diesel at a bargain price of £5+ a litre?

Good luck with the MK1 TT being a classic 👍

I think the original Mk1 TT (before the safety recall) will be an out and out classic as it's rocking horse poo and has a reputation. Apart from that... classics have always changed out of necessity so don't think they'll be disappearing any time in the next.... 50 years (remember, EVs suck atm, and whilst ICE cars will be phased out, that's new car sales only)
