I think 10k miles isn't bad if you have been hammering it. I've got GSD3's on my LCR and find them excellent in the dry and the wet.

If you get them from mytyres make sure you click on the banner advert as then SCN makes some money to keep this excellent resource free for all of us.

Mine lasted only 11K replaced them with a set of falkens

I dont abuse my car (play now and agian like everyone else) but i was told due to tourque aswell

Ted Johnson quoted me £280 !!!!!!

They have also quoted me £149 to replace my cracked fog light!!!!!

What a cheap dealer not :(

Just found that I currently have P6000's on, and not Bridgestones.

Got to wait for payday now in a week to get some new shoes, certainly aint going to be paying £280 for two new P6000's.

Glad its not me then or a problem. They seem to have worn nice and even as well, and it certainly explains the drop in handling a bit.

Will source some Eagle's ASAP as you all seem to rate these the best.

hi i run a cupra tdi and it had continentals on i replaced the fronts at 17000 and just changed the rears at 27000 due to nail in one could have got 29000 --30000 out of rears these have done motorway and urban , the continental sports cost me £205 the pair fitted at hardys in telford

Thanks Jay-bob. So did you run mixed then different fronts to rears? Did you notice any adverse effect on handling?

Looking at the treds of T1s and Eagles, they look very similar, so I guess its probably just a choice of which is cheaper.

Black circles are doing the T1R for £96 and the GDS3s for £101. Are they very similar? Is it worth going for the GDS3s over the T1R?

The T1R is a longer wearing tyre that the T1S?

I've munched two sets of Michelin Pilot Sports in about 18.5 K about 9k a tyre. Works out 2p a mile (1p for each wheel). Running torqy diesels is not cheap when you consider the oil and servicing. We live an learn!!

Still cheaper than runing my ST170 at 270 miles out of a tank for £55!

Not sure I want to work out if its actually cheaper after all the extra servicing and tyre costs.
