You would be putting less fuel in that way dave making the possibility of running lean at high rpm greater.

I think to do it you really need a wideband.

Im just a little concerned that if i do a few track days something could go badly wrong especially when im living high up the rev range.
 
This may not apply in this case as I am transfering knowledge gained from different cars, but IDC is not meant to run above 80% as this makes the dosing of the injector unreliable.
