12 Week wait if I want a Cupra TDI in Red

So I've been enquiring about changing my car and getting a cupra tdi.
I asked one of the dealers if he could find out how long it would take to get one if I decided to go ahead and buy one as that would give me an idea as to how much deposit I could save up to put down.

He just called and told me that there's no Red one's in the UK and only 1 or 2 Black ones left aswell.
To get a Red one it would have to be ordered from the factory and that would be about a 12 Week wait.

I just thought I'd share the info incase anyone else in thinking of getting a Cupra TDI especially in Red.

12 weeks of torment until you get it.

But when you get it the wait will be worthwhile. ;)

I just thought 12 weeks / 3 months seems abit excessive and I'm abit concerned about the fact they will be ceasing production of the cupra within that time think they're stoping prodction in 2months or so (week45 of this year). The upside is as long as there's no issues in getting it, it should be one of he last Cupra TDI's to come out of the factory.

Atleast I'll be able to save up a nice deposit to help reduce the monthly payments and maybe have enough for coilover's too.
