So I went to my workshop where they had an old Audi A6 2,7Turbo cat laying around. Bolted it on and went back to the MOT center.

CO 0.0 CO @ 2500rpm 0.0 HC 11 LAMBDA 1.03

haha, I let out 0% CO with the old but restrictive A6 cat.

After the pass we bolted race cat back on. Got this nice clip system so I can easilly change them my self next year. I know race cats need to be really warm before they function but the engine was warm and the mot guy pressed the engine for like 10 mins trying to get good results...

Sweedish MOT eh, glad it was sorted mate, 120CPI are hit and miss if they pass or not. 200CPI will pass as far as i know.

Remembering 100 cell cat - on its fourth MOT, running high power for the last year with methanol thrown in......

As said its hit and miss, coniditon of the engine helps too, fuel used etc.

I rather think it's the 3" DP with integrated cat I bought from fleabay that is sub standard... The DP holds up pretty good so far tho. knock on stainless steel.

yea, that's my thought as well.... I have a Audi A6 cat for my yearly MOT now. Good stuff.

Less restrictive. But louder - the cat is a pretty good silencer.
