12v feed near glove box

hello fellow seat owners....im trying to fit me a glove box light at the moment. i was just wondering where the nearest 12v feed i can tap into? im guessing it would be the cig lighter? or to go straight from the battery?

Id get one off the stereo wires if you only want a switched/constant feed - much easier than the ciggy or battery as thetre right next to each other. I was thinking of doing this at some point with a reed switch.

i bought a tiny push to break switch, will wire it up and hopefully see how it goes. i just need a light now lol.

you can buy the lot from the stealers for £15! just did mine the other day. used the remote lead to my amp. only thing with that means it only works when the ignition is on so not a major problem. have a fiddle about first before putting everything back together. i thought mine was right and one of the wires was connected wrongly. just a bit advice mate.

did you buy the switch from the stealers too? i think im just gonna attatch it straight to the battery for a constant power. also have you got the part numbers??

would reccommend you buy 2 of the bottom ones just to be on the safe side
(they are the 2 wires, but you need to cut them in half to make 4 so it's easier if you buy 2) theres a fitting guide on this site just do a search.

only the Stylance gets a light in the glovebox, but however, the whole facelift range now get a light in the boot
