As the guys have said there is a 17" version but they are very rare.
Why would you want to go down to 17"s Rob ? They'll look tiny

The 17" version also fits over the LCR Brembos

They were fitted to the FR+ and were available long before that.

Due to taxes in Denmark, they was "stock". I have them on my LCR. With brembo, as my winter rims/tires at the moment.

Well, you learn something new every day! I honestly didn't know that the 17" FR+ wheels fit over the LCR Brembo callipers. Techie, were you running the full LCR-size 323mm discs too? I thought that was why the 18" wheels were required on the LCR.

This is why we love SCN :D Always something new to learn!

I've seen a fair few FR+ Leons and I always think the 17" R Reps look really small. Smaller than the Cupra starfish and FR wheels. Not that they are, but just look it.

I agree; maybe it's because I'm used to the 18s but the 17s do look really small. What size tyre do they run usually?

Pretty certain they're the same as the Cupra/FR at 225/45

Makes a hell of a difference that 5!

As for faster 0-60 that depends on total circumference and weight, from an online calculator thing I once found, the difference between 18's on 40 and 17's on 45 is only very very slight.

They may be lighter due to been smaller, but I can't see it making any difference with the difficulty getting power down anyway.

woop, on the ball tonight! Found the calculator too:

18" 225/40 profile
Results for your selected Wheel/Tyre
Rolling Radius 317.15mm
Circumference 1992.71mm
Diameter 634.3mm

17" 225/45 profile
Rolling Radius 318.6mm
Circumference 2001.82mm
Diameter 637.2mm

Fancy that, the 17" are larger with tyres, now that's gonna throw spanners in the works for working out accelerations. I'd say, not gonna make a difference.
