17" wheels offset question

Would 17" wheels 7j wide with offset 40 and 205/40/17 tyres fit ok on a mk3 beeza? could you still run 15mm spacers on the back? also would lowering be a problem, cheers

yes they will fit and don't think you'd have problems with catching at that width. I run 205 40 17s in a 40 offset with no probs, I do have a small spacer (less than 5mm) on the front to clear my brembos which effectively makes my front rims 35mmish offset. Mine isn't lowered and am planning on fitting 15mm rear spacers soon and have told I'll have no problems

ive just fitted some 7x17 s offset is 40 or so i think, i have 15mm spacers on the back and it doesnt catch or rub with a full car..
