First thing to try, is gonna be n249 bypass, I did a bypass of my own, BUT it didn't work straight away, ideally, you need to do the one that is more of a delete, I'm not sure how to post links?
But the bypass by "mc funbot"
Fixed it, though I will say, in return, I got an sai fault. I'm not sure if I was unlucky with it, but resistors never cured that for me, everyone else swears by;

10 watt / 330 ohm resistors,
mine took three weeks from hongkong, and never worked, I've ordered some from 'city electrical factors', but am currently monitoring my latest 'idea'
Which is a way of re installing the n112 valve and NOT n249. If that works (big IF) ill post pics and a 'how to...'

Do you two get any dv noise?
(Big tell tale of n249 and dv fault)

Possible causes relating to this fault:
Boost leak
Vacuum leak
Split breather pipe
Temp sensor
Maf sensor
Breather puck
Faulty diverter valve
Faulty PCV - pressure control valve
Ecu software issue.

MJ, you seem to be pretty clued-up...
Since n249/112 delete I've had maf type symptoms, intermittently, which got worse with the the #1 map, any ideas?

Only when it's on boost, like, 1/4 throttle to 1/2 throttle (occasionally) and when coming from full throttle to 3/4 throttle its a little jerky/ steppy, like it dumps (all?) boost as soon as you ease throttle off slightly, it might be me worrying over nothing, due to bigger differences caused by power increase.... Hmmm

I also wondered, if it might be an issue that has been fixed, but I'm not used to the new-ish map...
(I Did have sai fault, might now be fixed)

223bhp from a stage one map on presumably a 180 AUQ engine is a high figure, if it didn't do it before the map I'd be checking how high the boost was set, it could be dumping boost to protect itself.

Have you got a dyno printout?

Could well be... It did it occasionally 'play up' before map, before: 0.7 bar peak and after the map 1.4 bar peak.
