17743 P1335 - Engine Torque Monitoring - Control Limit Exceeded

Guys I needs some Help

I keep getting this fault code. This throws up the EPC light and cuts all the power until i switch the ingnition off/on. This is happening randomly always on part throttle.
I've done a search on this and found a few threads but nothing to confirm what resolved the issue.
I think the car has been mapped but unsure of what it is. There are no other mods apart from this i believe.
Any help you can give will be great.

Are you remapped?
Running a non-standard Maf?

Hi Dave

I think it is mapped but I have no idea what map is on it. I know that sounds vague but it does feel like it's boosting a little hard for a standard car.

I had a look at that thread but nobody came back to say what resolved the issue if anything.
If i knew what MAP it was i could have at least tried to contact them to see if then knew of the issue.
The MAF is standard but is new. The last one got stolen (long story)

Assuming your MAP is the correct one (and not an ebay special) then I'd check your hoses first for leaks. Reset - and see if the code comes back.

Let me know if the problem persists, I'm fairly local.

The MAF came from the dealer however I can swap this with the other half Ibiza and see if I get the same issue.
I'll also go over over all the hoses and check for leaks. If there was a leak would this not cause a loss of boost? However i can't say what it's boosting anyway as I haven't got a gauge fitted yet.
Is there someway to log this in Vag-com? I have Vag-com but i'm not that clued up when it comes to logging etc.

Yes some Vag-Com logs would be well worth doing . Let me know when you want instructions on how/what.

i have got this code on my s3, that also seems like it is boosting a hell of a lot, did u ever get to the bottum of this code
